How to Add Click to Tweet Boxes in Your WordPress Posts

Have you seen the quote boxes on some of the popular sites that encourage their users to tweet? These click to tweet quotes are great for increasing site engagement and for shares on Twitter itself. In this video, we will guide you on how to add click to tweet boxes on your WordPress site.

For this tutorial we will be using the Better Click to Tweet plugin found here:

With the plugin active there will be a new admin menu area labeled ‘Better Click to Tweet’ that you want to click on for the settings page of the plugin. You will want to provide your twitter handle to be used inside tweets about your quotes.

You can now use the plugin’s shortcode:

[bctt tweet=”Your text goes here”]

Replace the text in the double quotes with what you want your users to have the ability to tweet. Now when the post is updated your site visitors will see a box with your quote inside that your users can click on to bring them to Twitter with your message to tweet.
